  • Participate actively in decision making processes at a high level as part of the senior leadership within the department to ensure that department operations, goals, and programs are in alignment with the mission of the University.

  • Complete all necessary NCAA reports on an annual basis. Submit requests for rules interpretations and waivers to the NCAA and communicate with necessary staff. Maintain accurate university information with the NCAA.
  • Serve on the Board of Athletic Administrators for the NJAC, including holding various leadership positions on the Board (i.e. Treasurer, chair of committees and sport groups).
  • Represented the department and university with various external organizations (i.e. Collegiate Athletic Administrators of New Jersey, New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women), holding multiple leadership roles within each.
  • Contribute to department budget review and decisions when appropriate.
  • Coordinate special events and functions, including the annual Athletic Awards banquet and Chi Alpha Sigma inductions.
  • Serve as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Athletics, coordinating related training for student-athletes and staff and addressing issues and possible violations as they arise.
  • Assure all staff and student-athlete training requirements are completed on a timely basis.
  • Secure additional staffing resources by preparing and submitting proposals for available NCAA grants.
  • Represent the department on various university committees.
  • Provide oversight and supervision for home athletic events.
