Overall what motivates me is assisting the people I work with in identifying their strengths and bringing those to the forefront to pursue their passions whether it be in the work place or private practice. I have chosen to work in education for over 20 years because I believe it sets the foundation for young people just starting out and others wanting to make a transition in their careers. I take great joy in being a part of that process. My super power is my love of coaching and motivating employees to be the best versions of themselves, while making a difference in their potential students lives.
Quality Assurance Coach and Trainer
I initially joined Kaplan University as an admission advisor when it was a start up company. It was originally owned by the Washington Post and it is now know as Perdue Global.
After engaging in a one yearcoach training program at the Ford Institute in 2000, I received a Life Coach Certification and started my own private practice. My clients were predominantly involved in a transition point in their lives and wanting to make a significant shift. During my career in education I enjoy hearing the goals of potential students who seem to be going through the same process and encourage advisors to really understand what they are hoping to accomplish by continuing their education and how they can make an impact on the students futures.
