Wilson Dyslexia Therapy/Dyslexia Intervention

Full time Dyslexia Interventionist with Wilson Dyslexia Therapist credentials and Wilson Fundations Presenter/Coach credentials. Wilson has been the dyslexia curriculum since August 2007.


Assessed and administered the Wilson Dyslexia Reading Program (science of reading) curriculum to students identified with dyslexia in grades 6 through 8, with varying below grade level reading skills. This involved knowledge and experience recognizing components of the science of reading, to include phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, morphological study, and comprehension. The process begins with basic phonemic awareness skills while integrating phonics, spelling, fluency, morphological study, and comprehension.


Also as a Certified Wilson Fundations Presenter/Coach, provided Fundations Professional Development to grades K, 1, and 2 from August 2009 through May 2019.


Formally retired in May 2022 after 30 years of teaching.
