  • I worked in a specific program called Bloom. Bloom is a program for children, ages three to five, who have a diagnosis of autism who receive speech, occupational, and applied behavioral analysis (ABA) services. This program is to prepare these children to go into the school system. My role was to assist the children during their group speech and occupational therapy sessions. Also, to insure that the children are getting the most out of these sessions, using their appropriate communication devices, implementing activities of daily living (ADLs), working on playing appropriately with peers and with toys.
