- Assist students at Norview High School through the college application process
- Provide students with assistance in registering for SAT and ACT, as well as accessing fee waivers for qualifying students
- Provide students with college and scholarship essay assistance and editorial suggestions
- Develop and maintain relationships with college admissions and financial aid offices to better assist students through the process
- Work individually with students to help them identify schools that are the best fit and match for them to ensure student success
- Create and lead workshops for students grades 9 through 12
- Utilize National Student Clearinghouse Data to determine needs of the student body and pinpoint schools with support systems in place for our underrepresented students
- File FAFSA and CSS Profile applications for students seeking financial aid and assist with financial aid letter interpretations
- Help students locate and apply for scholarships and determine grant eligibility
- Regularly seek out and take advantage of professional development opportunities and conferences, such as VCAN, NCAN and PCACAC
- Serve as a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force
