Summary
Being an elementary teacher has been one of the most rewarding careers I could have ever chosen. The rigorous curriculum challenged me not only with content but with differentiation that was necessary to reach students of various academic abilities. The most rewarding part of being an elementary teacher was building relationships with children of all kinds of backgrounds and their parents. Collaborating with my colleagues on curriculum, problem-solving, and team building helped to establish trust both professionally and personally.
