2024-25 Wake County Leadership Cohort. Administrator for the Science and Arts departments and PLCs. Guide the School Improvement Team toward student success. Evaluate teacher performance through classroom observations, reviews of lesson plans, and feedback from parents and students. Collaborate with grade level, specialist, special education, and instructional assistant teams to support and establish programs, lessons, and student activities. Collaborate with classroom teachers in developing strategies to comprehensively support students in the areas of ELA and math, assist with assessments to determine areas of need, work with individual students and small groups to provide innovative reading and math instruction, serve as a PLC activator and COVID-19 Coordinator.

Analyzed student data for scheduled classes and co-teaching to meet the needs of English Language Learners and intervention students, collaborated with classroom teachers to provide supports and scaffolds for students. Planned the ESL Back-to-School meeting and the International Parade, coordinated the ESL/Duke Study for the first grade and ESL teachers, scheduled and administered ACCESS tests to 150+ students. Led teachers and students in the WCPSS summer learning program.

Implemented reading and writing workshops to increase student literacy and support county reading programs, facilitated grade level professional learning team, planned and implemented school improvement plan, planned and presented yearly parent orientation for incoming kindergarten parents, co-chair person of Community Outreach Committee, lead and implemented school level READVolution program, yearly representative for United Way initiative.
