I have specialized training to deliver care in a variety of situations for the critically ill patient specifically Systems Trauma I & II, Trauma Care After Resuscitation, Severe Sepsis and Septic Shock, Therapeutic Hypothermia after Cardiac Arrest as well as General Anesthesia and PACU Recovery. I also have trained to be the Rapid Response Nurse and the Trauma Nurse responding to Traumas in the ER as well as the Stroke Nurse delivering timely care interventions to stroke patients. I have been in the role of relief coordinator for the last four years. I am an active member of the ICU Partnership Council as well as prior Chairman for two years. I am currently a Essentials Champion involved in implementing new practices to the ICU to improve patient care.
