Responded on an on-call basis to child abuse and neglect reports when children were believed to be in imminent danger regarding their overall safety and well-being.
Interviewed all necessary parties within a 24/48 hour time frame to determine a child’s safety and whether an emergency removal is necessary.
Collaborated with hospitals, law enforcement, and attorney’s throughout the emergency investigation.

Conducted 51A investigations regarding allegations of physical abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, and abandonment while working closely with law enforcement, the court, schools, and hospitals.
Collected information through interviews with children, parents, relatives, collaterals involved with the family, and the alleged perpetrator to formulate the most informed decision regarding the level of intervention needed to determine a child’s safety.
Prepared appropriate reports/documentation to the court as well as provided testimony when the decision was made to remove a child from their home.
Submitted detailed reports at the close of all investigations in accordance with agency policy.

Served as a co-facilitator for an Intimate Partner Abuse program, overseeing a 41-week psycho-educational curriculum.

Guided court-ordered participants, predominantly men, in exploring patterns of violence, power dynamics, and control mechanisms through facilitated discussions, multimedia presentations, written exercises, and introspective analysis.

Facilitated an environment aimed at fostering behavioral change and cessation of violent behavior.

Engaged directly with families identified by the Department for concerns of child abuse and/or neglect. Provided comprehensive support and intervention services aimed at addressing underlying issues and promoting child safety and well-being.
