As a Dairy Associate at Wegmans, I help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked dairy department while providing friendly service to customers. My responsibilities include stocking and organizing dairy products such as milk, eggs, cheese, yogurt, and other refrigerated items, rotating products and checking expiration dates to ensure freshness, organizing backstock, and keeping shelves and displays neat and presentable. I assist customers with finding products and answering questions while making sure they have a positive shopping experience. I work in a fast-paced environment where I need to stay organized, pay attention to detail, work efficiently, safely lift and move products, and complete tasks both independently and as part of a team. I also follow food-safety procedures and help keep the department clean and safe for both customers and employees.

As a team member at Rita’s Italian Ice, I focus on creating a friendly, welcoming, and positive experience for every customer. I greet customers with a smile, listen carefully to their orders, answer questions, and help them choose from our different treats and flavors. I make sure orders are prepared accurately and served quickly while maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude, even during busy periods. I communicate with customers and coworkers to ensure orders are correct and customers are satisfied. I also handle payments, keep the serving area clean and inviting, and help create an enjoyable atmosphere for customers of all ages. This role has strengthened my communication, patience, teamwork, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
