Seeking a career in a role as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or Account Manager, where I can apply my interpersonal & leadership skills to find solutions to problems. I have led and managed teams in business operations and projects alike. My greatest strength is patience, which drives my ability to find solutions to problems, whether that means troubleshooting software, locating reporting errors, documenting complex processes or building trust and rapport with others. My greatest weakness is a lack of experience in using "name brand" software resources utilized by companies, which I see in job descriptions, like Azure, Jira, Salesforce, Microsoft Project etc., as in my current and former roles, proprietary software is and was used; however, being a resourceful person, I would default to Excel or use other software for ways they were not intended to accomplish goals.
Recently, after studying for 4 weeks, I passed the CAPM exam, earning a Certified Associate in Project Management certification. The ideal role would allow me to obtain more project management hours so that I can obtain a PMP certification. Although I have 9 years experience in managing self-led projects, either in the course of managing a growing business or in the course of improving processes in other roles, project timelines overlapped, making some project hours ineligible to be counted per The Project Management Institute's guidelines for applicable project hours. I have also recently completed a course for using Microsoft Excel for Project Management, in which I learned how to use charts and graphs to create a project dashboard in Excel. I am currently taking another course to learn how to use Microsoft Project to further my ability to apply Project Management knowledge and strengthen my skillset.
