Accomplishments

  • Worked otside rate in GS-5 position PACS administration and served as a liaison to patients in digital imaging archiving systems throuought the command. Played a key role in developing departmental policies and procedures during the FY22 Joint Commission preparation, which resulted in commendation from the inspectors and zero discrepancies. Consistently assessed Xray tech standard operation procedures and workflow efficiencies during a successful process improvement initiative that ensured the patients radiographic images were uploaded within 24 hours. My efforts significantly contributed to the completion of 18k radiographic examinations, 1.2k fluoroscopic cases, and 18k magnetic resonance images. Led a CPI project that focused on enhancing the efficiency of turnaround times for image uploads in the PACS system across the seven divisions within the Radiology department.
