On Call RN With Hospice Of Michigan
Big Rapids,MI

Summary

Health care and basic education are every human's right. I am a teacher and healthcare professional. All my career journeys and adventures have shown me how the two are explicitly interwoven.

The last twelve years have gifted me the opportunity to work in hospice. Care of the terminally ill is a unique privilege, and I have been the lucky recipient of this privilege. I learned much as a practitioner of End of Life Care while with Hospice of Michigan. Each encounter with a patient and family teaches me as much as I can teach or guide them. It is utterly satisfying. The learning, training, experiencing I've had with hospice in the last decade make me feel I could bring a significant chest of gifts to an RN role in the Care center / Call center / Triage. My experience, calmness, maturity, listening/hearing skills and dedication to diversity would dovetail nicely with the role I seek.
