I recently retired from the Nebraska National Guard with State and Federal honors. I was a member of this organization for over 40 years, serving in a variety of roles with increasing responsibility both enlisted and officer. In November of 2022, i signed a contract with L2 Defense as a subject matter expert in Medical and Joint Emergency Management. I am considered an occasional contractor, as needed.
Served as chief advisor and principal advisor to the Adjutant General on Joint matters on Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA), international affairs through State Partnerships with Czech Republic and Rwanda, major State validations/exercises and joint education and training.
Ensured over 250 Airman were trained and prepared to perform State, Federal, CONUS and OCONUS operations in support of missions worldwide.
Led the 155 Air Refueling Wing's largest squadron with 14 aircraft maintenance specialties, supporting $360M dollars in assets and oversight of maintaining the Wing's KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft. Deployed and led maintainers in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and PACOM DETERRENCE contingency missions.
Served as the first commander for the Nebraska National Guard CERF-P (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear High-Yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package), overseeing joint operations training for Soldiers and Airman assigned to the CERF-P mission.
