  • Responsible for loading and unloading cargo, supplies, and passengers on the vessel.
  • Performed safety checks on all equipment and gear prior to use.
  • Assisted in mooring operations by tying off lines and setting anchor points.
  • Maintained a clean deck area through daily sweeping and scrubbing of surfaces.
  • Conducted regular maintenance on deck machinery such as winches, pumps, cranes.
  • Inspected hulls for damages or corrosion when entering or leaving port.
  • Communicated effectively with other vessels via radio transmissions.
  • Stored food items safely in order to reduce spoilage during long journeys.

  • Loaded the boats with whatever cargo they needed as they came in and dropped the towers down and secured them before they went to the final section of throwing the cover on.
  • Moved to the final section of final finish and heat shrank covers on with heat guns then had to lift the boats up for them to be put on a trailer to go out.
  • Got trained on the tractor to go out and get whatever trailer was needed for the specified boat and backed them in and pulled the boats out for pick up.
  • Completed various GMP and 5s tasks here as well. Helped as needed.
