I am currently finishing up my last semester of college at the University of Texas at San Antonio where I am majoring in Geology. I will obtain my diploma in August 2023. I will be GIS certified in December 2023. I am looking to secure an entry level position as a Mud Logger where I can begin my career and grow my skills in the oil and gas industry.
University of Texas at San Antonio 2023 Summer Field Camp
Experience in mapping activities and sampling outcrops in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Texas. Lab work to process rock samples at UTSA main campus with computer-based work. The second part of field camp laboratory work was research on the WIS during the Early Cretaceous and Sevier Orogeny and how it impacted climate in N America and generated sources for sediment. The aim was if we could discover a latitudinal variation in the amount of weathering and detrital input. We hypothesized that weathering and detrital input will be higher at lower latitude where intertropical conditions prevailed.
University of Texas at San Antonio 2023 Petroleum Project
Experience in researching and presenting a project on unconventional plays in the Bakken formation. Presenting with a team based on production data of given acreages, production data, horizontal well data, and contour maps to develop a 5-year plan on given acreages. Presented research to fellow UTSA alumni who are currently in the oil and gas industry.
