  • Committed to maintaining the highest standards of golf course maintenance at a highly rated championship golf course, and ensuring an exceptional playing experience for golfers.
  • Daily tasks consist of mowing greens, rough, tee boxes, approaches and fairways. As well as, raking bunkers, filling divots, watering sod, and blowing off playing surfaces.
  • Meticulously operate a various selection of mowers, tractors and utility vehicles.
  • Highly skilled areas include walk mowing, fairway mowing, sod work, and cup cutting.
  • Improved course aesthetics by trimming trees, pruning shrubs, and managing landscape plantings as needed.
  • Ensured consistent playing surfaces with regular aeration, topdressing, and verticutting procedures.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality course conditions.
  • Able to operate Bobcat skid steer, Kubota loader, Ventrac, and drive vehicles with a manual transmission (Toro Workman and John Deere 2030A ProGator).
  • Off-season work consists of leaf cleanup, snow prep/ removal, cutting down trees, splitting firewood, clearing out brush areas, and organizing the shop in preparation for the season.
  • Familiar with the DryJect process.

  • The inaugural Hartford Healthcare Women's Championship of the Epson Tour was hosted at Great River in June of 2023. The event has been rescheduled for the 2024 season.

• I was given the opportunity to work and live on property full time for an entire year, working everyday at the Nicklaus Course at Colleton River.
• Worked closely with Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, and crew, in completing the daily duties of preparing the golf course for play.
• Handled tasks such as, cutting cups, rolling greens and mowing greens, tees, approaches & fairways,
• Operated all types of golf course specific equipment like, greens roller, Triplex, fairway mower, rough mower, walk mower.
• Assisted in the aerification process, where I was tasked with aerifying tees and approaches with the ProCore 648, as well as verticut greens with the Triplex.
• We also replaced our collars, where we hand rolled round up in order to kill them off, and had new sod placed in. Following that, we hand cut greens sod where the round up had either infiltrated or where there was unwanted turf growing on the greens.
• Every week I sprayed greens, doing both foliar and soil sprays. With the help of another crew member, we walk sprayed greens with a Sprayhawk. Spraying minor nutrients, along with herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers, depending on what we felt was necessary given the health of the turf.
• Backpack sprayed herbicides in the rough, pine straw, white beds and dunes in order to get rid of any unwanted grasses and weeds.
• Conducted soil samples for analysis to determine necessary nutrients needed in week areas.
• Able to operate just about every piece of equipment, including tractors and skid steers.
