- Look over and accept donations from customers.
- Organization for sorting and separate clothing, from pants, shorts, long sleeve and short sleeve, jackets, hats, swim wear.
- Train oncoming workers in the receiving and donation department, teaching them how to talk and respond to customers, how to see if furniture is acceptable, where to put donations because every item donated has its dedicated bin to go in.
- Run, organize, sort and price the sporting goods department.
- Maintain cleanliness of Sporting good department on the sales floor.
- Remove items that were not acceptable for sale.
- Assist customers in questions and pricing if needed, provide information about St Vincent Depaul and its departments.
- Stay effective and fast paced when donations became busy and over loaded. Independently working at times.
