I grew up on a farm in northern California working for my grandfather after school and all summer long. My other grandfather has a chain of grocery stores so I've been working for him on and off since I was about ten. I actually started a successful firewood bundling addition to the stores, where we sell around 70 thousand bundles a year.
I've went consecutive years of working two full time jobs at the same time. I once went about six months working 20-22 hours a day before it finally got to me. I've worked with my back since I was a kid and there's really no job I can't handle as far as physical labor goes.
My most recent employer was Sierra Pacific lumber industry in Burney California, where I got another brush up on safety procedures and proper maintenance and inspections of the equipment we were operating.
I've been wanting to leave California for some time now and I finally did it. I live ten minutes down the road from the coal mine so I'm hoping I can get on out there with GCC.
