I'm grateful for all the opportunities they have given me and for all I've learned while working there, but I cannot see myself there 15 years down the road and want to get into a career path and industry where I can.

  • I'm responsible for managing the 'front end' team members of the store, which includes cashiers, courtesy patrol, and service desk team members. Making sure they are trained and fulfilling their job responsibilities.
  • I'm in charge of making sure all our accounts payable are paid on time, with proper documentation. Also, contact all our accounts receivable, making sure they pay us, and process their payments.
  • Making sure the department stays within budget for payroll, which is constantly evolving in real time based on current sales.
  • Training and developing the next generation of leaders in the company by having my best-performing team members go through various training and advancement programs under my guidance and supervision.
  • Responsible for various IT support throughout the store by ensuring that all the electronic equipment in the store is functioning and submitting work orders when necessary to fix problems that require parts or more specialized training.
  • I fulfill the role of 'Acting General Manager' for about 10 hours per week when the General Manager and his assistants aren't there.
