Manage maintenance activities for municipal recreational and burial grounds.

Overhead and underground powerline maintenance, including replacing old powerlines.

We performed powerline maintenance, namely removing branches and anything obstructing the lines. I ran the Trencher while underground cable was being ran to a new subdivision. We also removed and reconnected down powerlines during an ice storm.

As an Apprentice, I was able to do a lot of ground work. Canadian Valley was adding new services and expanding their coverage area so we spent a lot of time digging trenches and burying cable.

Trained to use explosives safely as a means to demolish and/or gain entry to enemy structures. Also trained to be a Gunner on the Bradley tank. Driver for Sergeant Major Irving. Received the Army Achievement Award and the Army Good Conduct Award.
