Marketing Analytics Reporting – AMD
I was part of AMD’s Marketing Analytics team, delivering end-to-end reporting solutions using Snowflake, DBT, Tableau, and Power BI.
Organic Social Reporting
- Designed a comprehensive reporting suite to analyze organic performance of AMD’s social media posts on platforming - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok.
- Data ingestion into snowflake was done through Fivetran connectors. Developed transformation tables in Snowflake using DBT based on platform-specific business logic.
- Built specific dim and fact tables and incremental tables using DBT. Implemented DBT data integrity tests for daily QA checks.
- Built Tableau dashboards enabling detailed analysis of top-performing posts by Impressions, Engagements, Clicks, Video Views, etc., with filters by Campaign, Platform, and Partner.
Operational Reports – AMD Fund Tracking
- Built transformation tables in Snowflake/DBT and developed hierarchical Power BI reports to track Marketing Fund allocation from AMD’s Creatio platform.
- Automated daily ingestion via Data Factory; transformed cross-quarter budgets into quarterly fund allocations so that business users get a niche view of quarterly allocation.
- Reports tracked fund flow from Regional to Subregional to Partner reservations/claims, and flagged unallocated funds or delays.
- Developed Partner Performance dashboards in PowerBI ranking the top 100 partners per BU based on Units Sold, Investment, Product Mix, Claim Quality, etc.—
- Scores were calculated using Standard deviation and Z scores were used to rank partners where appropriate. This reporting was widely used by leadership for quarterly investment decisions.
Salesforce Reporting – Marketing ROI
- Developed PowerBI reporting suite for Marketing ROI.
- Analyzed total campaigns and opportunities from the campaigns, total quantity sold and expected revenue based on opportunity stage in salesforce.
- Built several transformation tables in snowflake to track opportunities that were sourced from marketing campaigns vs Lead sourced and analyzed the pipeline revenue based on several categories like OEM, Product category, Campaign Type etc.Salesforce
Account Based Marketing(ABM) reporting
- Analyzed AMD's ABM campaigns run by third party providers to understand whether the campaigns contributed to page visits to AMD's website.
- Created transformation tables in snowflake to find Accounts that had a lift in page views before and after an ABM campaign.
- Built a comprehensive reporting in PowerBI to which helped ABM team to understand Accounts that had immediate interests AMD's offering and helped plan future campaigns.
