Instructed children ages 4-12 in Swedish on Saturdays. Responsibilities included,

• Keeping classrooms clean, neat and properly sanitized for student health and classroom efficiency.
• Collaborating with teachers for lesson preparation by preparing materials and setting up equipment.
• Keeping track of the children during recess
• Communicated frequently with parents, students and faculty to provide feedback and discuss instructional strategies.

Shadowed journeymen and apprentice carpenters daily in a 40-hour work week and assisted with various tasks including but not limited to,

• Participating in daily team meetings
• Moving heavy lumber
• Filling out daily pre-task plans
• Managing temporary safety structures
• Building concrete forms
