I completed an online OSHA-10 safety course that involved training on workplace safety and compliance guidelines in accordance with OSHA regulations. It was in-depth and rewarding to learn about fire, slip and fall, chemical machine safety. It also taught me about PPE use, cleanliness, disposal of worn or dirty PPE equipment. I also learned about blood-borne pathogens, and their handling in case of mishandling or a spill. Safety around wet or smooth flooring or grounds that are traversed by workers or guests of a facility. It was a great course to learn!
I also completed an ASCM (American Supply Chain Management) course online, courtesy of Probis industries. Ii was another great course explaining how the supply chain works around the globe when it comes to all major modes of commerce and transportation such as rail, water, land and air, that keeps international and domestic products moving 24hrs a day. It also taught me about the cost efficiency of shipping rates, fuel economy, and the safety of moving all products. Anything from food, building supplies, chemicals, (along with proper import/export safety compliance, warning and product labeling for anything corrosive, explosive, flammable and/or dangerous/deadly). I also learned about better warehouse and storage efficiency, and how products can move faster and accurately with better inbound and outbound inventory control.
