The objective for submitting this resume is to re-enter into the environmental field and help build a strong office in the Akron area that clients around the country can trust and depend on. I hope to work my way up the chain of command in this company, bettering myself and the company along the way! I believe that my physical skills, size, and unique skill set put together from doing many odd jobs throughout my high school and college years (electrical work, plumbing apprentice etc.) and my professional career in the environmental field make me a perfect candidate for this job and would make it far easier on the company since there would be very little training or on boarding, if any, needed before I can start putting my skills to work to begin helping the company and its upcoming jobs.
I started as a Stack Technician collecting and transporting the samples for analysis and reporting. After ~4 years I worked my way up to the Laboratory Technician/Assistant Lab Manager and my job became to recover, analyze, and report the samples and their findings to our clients.
I was group I, II certified (there was one other group I was certified but I cannot remember which one off the top of my head). Also, I was HazMat certified for the accepting and shipping of HazMat materials and samples, meaning that during my time with Montrose I was able to become proficient in the entire process of a job from start to finish.
I have limited experience in CEM's but I am motivated to become proficient in these skill as well, I received limited training in department but do have some knowledge of it. I was also involved in safety, along with numerous groups to better the companies Lab department.
