Hardworking, reliable and on time is one thing that is important. Driving a truck and picking up for the government, times and schedules were a must and learning how to handle hazmat materials.As QC supervisor,l helped make sure the the employees did their jobs correct and in a timely manner. I believe I have great
communication skills with people and able to be fair in any situation that may occur. At Slats Lucas quarry running heavy equipment and running the plants help me pay attention to detail and being conscious of my surrounding.
Running heavy equipment and plants.
Driving haul trucks hauling rock to different plants to be crushed. Running front end loaders loading trucks and feeding rock to the plants and cleaning up around the plant. Running the plants crushing rock to different sizes and keeping a eye on the belts and amps to make sure everything runs smooth.
Overseeing cleaning crews and a mowing crew that take care of the parks, boat ramps, picnic areas and campgrounds for the Corp of Engineers that they have us contracted to maintain. I go behind all of the crew's and QC the work that has been preformed that day. I make sure they don't need any supplies and it's is done to the Corp's specifications
Hauling hot oil from Marathon bulk plant at Suwannee Ky to the asphalt plants in Lake City Ky and Paducah Ky. Once at the plants I had to keep up with tank levels and oil temperature
I hauled hazardous materials off of government and military bases like drums, totes and boxed materials. It required background checks and security clearances to enter the facilities. I was gone from home Monday thur Friday
