  • As the Director of Finance and Administration, I managed the financial operating framework for the Hesburgh Libraries and I am responsible for human resources administration and facilities management.
  • Chaired a 20-person task force leading the COVID response for the Hesburgh Libraries.
  • Coordinated the move to remote work and the safe return to onsite work.
  • Co-led the implementation planning phases of a Library-wide organizational redesign project.
  • Manage $30 million-plus annual budget for Hesburgh Libraries.
  • Steward endowments, library priorities, and donor designations.
  • Develop short-term and long-term budget priorities and strategies.
  • Coordinate financial operations with executive officers.
  • Manage year-to-date financial performance and year-end performance versus budget.
  • Serve as primary liaison with University financial offices.
  • Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures governing all personnel areas: recruiting, hiring, appointments, promotion, attendance, payroll, separation, and FMLA.
  • Manage communication of personnel activities and issues among the Hesburgh Libraries, Human Resources, and the Provost’s Office.

  • Supervise eight employees in the Administrative and Central Resources Program.

  • Assist in strategic planning for the Library, and lead goal planning for the Program.

  • Served as a module lead on the implementation of the Human Resources/Payroll module of an enterprise software suite.
  • Designed and developed a database and cash flow model for tracking and reporting on the University’s capital planning projects. This application greatly improved the data integrity of this important information source.
