Matt Zelazny

My role at CCI focuses on customers searching for opportunities to improve business continuity with a focus on a SASE solution. My involvement starts at PreSales, where we discover the opportunity and listen to the business objectives for both the short and long term. From there, it can take us directly into a sale, a proof of concept, or a product enhancement to support additional technological advancements. As the sale develops into a project, I aim to work closely with our customers as we discover, design, document, and deploy a SASE solution. As we finalize and monitor our project, we consider application and network trends to optimize the network for a better user experience.

The role of a Network Engineer at Lumen Technologies was when my outlook on a job transformed into a career. I joined a team focused on managing and monitoring Cisco, Adtran, and Juniper routers that served as the edge devices for our SMB customers. One of the most valuable skills I learned was when I started to work on different design considerations that the BGP protocol could support. Business continuity was in mind, and configurations could influence path selection. I also enjoyed learning about the L3 MPLS network and services available to our customers such as QoS and multicast.
