I grew up in a big family, and because of that, we never really had money. We found ways to adapt. In the end it made all of us stronger, more independent people. I am the oldest out of my siblings, and this is why I gravitate towards leadership positions.I am seeking to make my way into a trade, and I would like you to consider me as an apprentice at your company. I believve that I would be a valuable asset to the apprentice position because I have a very strong work ethic. I have progressed quickly through various training programs, becoming the water spider of the highest producing cell of finished knives by the end of my first year at my last job with the goal of obtaining experience in lean manufacturing as a jumping off point for my future career. Previous to Buck Knives, I was employed working night shift at Carl's junior where a big portion of my job was breaking down kitchen equipment and doing preventative maintenance. I'm always looking to improve, learn something new, or grow within the company I work for. One thing I have trouble with is taking on more work than I have to in order to get tasks done. Because of this, I have learned how to overcome difficult obstacles under stress and how to balance a heavy workload.
