Experiences
- During the summer and winter of 2022 and 2023, I frequently would take care of my neighbor's dogs when they were gone on trips. It was a good opportunity to learn how to cater to a customer's needs.
Doing this got me referred to multiple other people who needed my help. - In the summer of 2023 I assisted a friend with landscaping which included watering her plants and pulling weeds. She later needed me to help prepare her house for the upcoming winter.
- I have also taken care of 2 different animals who were approaching the ends of their lives and made sure they were nurtured and cared for when the owners were away.
Taking care of animals was a joy for me, although I wanted to go into a more steady work environment which would prepare me for my future career as a firefighter. - I got my Lifeguarding certification in September of 2023 and have been working as a Lifeguard for around 8 months.
- I have received 2 raises while working at the YMCA Aquatic Center.
