I work in the main warehouse for Menards/Midwest Manufacturing as a Warehouse/Forklift worker. I pick orders needed to ship to menards stores and load them onto pallets and get them wrapped and ready for shipment and loaded onto semi trailers. I do occasionally help as needed at other parts in the Midwest Manufacturing warehouse/area via on the production line where they make and sort nails and other Midwest Manufacturing products.
I drove around a company vehicle a Ram Promaster 2500 XL. To varying types businesses or warehouses or production facilities Inspecting/testing and swapping out as needed Fire alarm/Fire extinguisher/sprinkler system parts or supplies as needed for the business or area to meet state code for Fire safety. As well as tested Fire alarm systems to make sure they were up to code.
I worked as a outpatient Pharmacy Technician for mayo clinic outpatient Pharmacy. I took incoming and made outgoing phone calls to patients to refill there medications via mail order or pick up. I worked with patients to findout where there meds where if they had been lost or not received in the mail as well, and i answered questions on my own or with a pharmacist about patients medications/side effects or general knowledge. This was in a call center type setting via desk with cubes.
I worked as a Fiber Optic Technician for Metronet/Tmobile Fiber. They at the time were a Phone/Internet/Cable TV company. Duties were as follows, using a company truck/tools I would install new service lines and do maintenance on existing service lines as well and troubleshooted fiber optic service lines ran from node/terminal to utility pole to customer home or place of business.i would also on occasions help out with H.U.D maintenance in a main area where the fiber signal would come into rochester or other areas as well. After an install i would set up whatever service(s) the customer has, walk them through features of the services and how they worked. I worked outside in all different weather conditions as well. Hot, cold, wet, rainy, storms. you name it. I also was apart of a oncall schedule that ran 365 24/7 with other Technicians as well
You were oncall for up to 2 weeks at one time.
I do have experience in bucket truck work as well as cherry picker operation. I also did get low voltage certified through the state of MN as required for the work I was doing. I also had duties to wallfish a line through a customer's home or running fiber through the customers home to a different location as need or wanted by said customer.
I was responsible for over 50 different stores in the state of Minnesota that sold Samsung electronics this was a daily travel position with company vehicle as well. I was responsible for going around to these stores, training, educating, and showing off the newest, and the best Samsung products to there employees I also as well were sent to different electronic conferences I'm regard to cell phone/tablet mobile technology and it was my responsibility to keep up to date and refresh on this Information.
I was a Lead Mobile Expert for OSL Retail Services, I worked out of Walmart and Sams Club in Rochester Minnesota. In this position I was I'm charge of over 20 different employees in the aspect of making weekly schedules, management of time off, coaching and discipline of these employees, doing weekly tests of knowledge checks, making sure they kept up on monthly trainings. I also coached and taught on customer services, how to approach customers in Sams Club and Walmart to get THE SALE. I assisted in cell phone upgrades and coached employees on how to do them and the best ways to upsale individuals as well, so they can get the most money. I kept track of different stats ranging from sales per day/week/month to customers greeted to new services of AT&T TV and Direct TV products.
I was the Store Manager for at the time 3 different AT&T stores in Rochester Minnesota. As in, I made schedules, coached and trained employees from how to greet a customer when they walk in to how to upsale the customer on a case, screen protector or other products during or after a new line of service or upgrading there mobile device. I also taught employees on opening and closing procedures of the stores as well closing and opening registers, how to deal with trade ins, how to ship trade ins out to AT&T and how to help customers activate a new line or upgrade from a online order. I also assisted customers in paying there bill as needed or other mobile device questions in regard to billing or services, or mobile device functions.
I worked as a customer relation coordinator for Cable TV video repair, I worked in a call center setting answering incoming calls and troubleshooting customers Cable TV services, using the customers assistance in completing different troubleshooting steps to repair TV services and sending out a truck roll (TV repair technician) as needed to correct service related issues. As I was there I became a supervisor and lead a team of up to 30 different customer relation coordinators from weekly coachings, listening to phone calls taken, to putting together weekly meetings via PowerPoint. I did whatever I could to make sure my reps met different metrics from surveys from the customer on how they did to company required metrics.
I was in the United States Marine Corps. I was a active duty 3021 Reconnaissance Marine out of Camp Pendleton in Oceanside California. In 2015 I changed MOS's and went United States Marine Corps reserve in Minneapolis Minneapolis out of Fort Snelling.
