The Community Service Officer Program is a student-based public service program aimed at serving and connecting with the community through various means.

• Supervisor Position: Led a team of student Community Service Officers in securing campus events, developed and delivered training programs for new CSOs ensuring a strong foundation in public safety protocols, oversaw the successful implementation of a campus-wide bicycle enforcement project contributing to a safer environment for cyclists and pedestrians.
• Community Engagement: Building positive relationships with community members, act as a resource for campus-wide information, and participate in community outreach programs.
• Public Safety: Encouraged and enforced campus safety protocols, assist sworn officers and medical personal with both non-emergency and emergency calls for service.
• Technology Use: Collaborated with clients on designing and manufacturing signage for events, oversaw spreadsheets containing a record of properties within the department.

• Patient Care: Provide clear instructions and maintain a calm and reassuring demeanor to patients undergoing Covid-19 testing.
• Data Entry: Accurately record patient information and test results in a timely manner using electronic medical record systems.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Properly don, doff, and dispose of PPE according to established protocols.
• Specimen Collection: Proficient in nasopharyngeal or anterior nares swab collection techniques, adhering to strict hygiene and safety regulations.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.
