  • Assistant Chief of Operations providing daily leadership and management for 28 personnel, directing training, scheduling, TDY assignments, time-card certification, and serving as Incident Commander for all emergency responses.
  • Supervises fire alarm communication center operations to ensure all firefighting equipment and personnel are dispatched as required.
  • Worked with union officials as a supervisory firefighter to resolve complaints at the lowest level.
  • Department VCO manages extensive vehicle fleet worth 10.5 million dollars.
  • CFAI accreditation manager for department, manages department accreditation for internal & External stakeholders. Completes annual Standards of Cover and Annual Compliance Reports.
  • Promotes & selects new potential employees on promotion boards to interview, score and select candidates for vacancies.

  • A proven trustworthy leader! Supervisory Firefighter responsible for managing daily operations, and overall Incident Commander of 3 fire stations covering 15 miles including 16 firefighters, and 4 paramedics daily. Provides guidance on COVID-19 to subordinates as soon as policy changes.
  • Manages daily work schedule, training, AATAPS, shift schedule, sick leave, annual leave, permissive TDY, as well as assigning tasks to subordinates during a 48-hour shift.
  • Incident commander during fire on post of multi-million-dollar Army research facility! Millions of dollars of research and equipment saved by quick action, and direction of Army assets, and mutual aid assets. Limiting fire damage to less than $250,000.
  • Incident commander on a two-alarm mutual aid fire! Called mayday for a Firefighter who fell through the floor. RIT crews successfully made entry and were able to assist with rescue of downed firefighter. Firefighter made a complete recovery.
  • Completed Army Supervisory Development Course, and other applicable ARMY Leadership Courses. Provides Coaching, Mentoring, and Counseling to employees to further achieve mission and individual success.
  • Extensive training in Hazmat unique to APG regarding Chemical Warfare Agents, BSL labs, Toxic Industrial Chemicals. Training includes Chemistry of Hazardous Materials (Michigan State University), AWR 160, New Mexico Tech Response to Explosive Incidents, 40-hour Toxic Med course for first responders.
