All of my past commercial carpentry and finishing skills used in renovating Federal offices floor to ceiling, including painting, carpet and drywall. Getting them ready in rapid succession, as well as assembling and installing furniture and moving them between both offices and buildings on campus.

Took a break from working Carpentry to broaden my culinary skills. Learned regional cuisine, enhanced my cooking, time management skills and how to handle different high stress environments as well as other ways to improve my personal repertoire of skills.

This position increased my efficiency in framing, as well as broadened my safety skills, as most days outside were in adverse/winter weather conditions. While here I became Forklift Certified.

Extensive painting experience using a brush, roller and HVLP (High Volume, Low pressure)equipment. I have experience applying water and solvent based paints on substrates that include wood, plastics, aluminum, steel, MDF and Vehicles. Proficient color matching in stains and paints. Several of the projects I worked on are now sitting in museums, Like the Smithsonian, and various National Parks.

Was responsible for ordering materials, installing custom decks and screened porches as many of our Clients wanted custom not cookie-cutter, and we delivered.
