Matthew Dyer

I have been married to my amazing wife for 27 years and we have been blessed with 6 wonderful children together. They have been my support and have stood with me every step of the way through our ministry journey.

God began His ministry in and through me back in 2012, where I began leading youth groups and Wednesday night Bible studies at Burkesville Separate Baptist Church. I continued to grow in ministry there until 2016 when God called us to CenterPoint Church of the Nazarene.

At CenterPoint I quickly felt God pulling me to lead Sunday School, as well as children’s quizzing and youth group. I continued to feel God pulling me to something more, I just wasn’t sure what it was.

In October of 2018 I answered Gods calling on my life to preach His Word. I then became an Associate Pastor at CenterPoint Church and received my Local License. God continued to call for more and in October of 2019 we planted and started AnchorPoint Church of the Nazarene.

We began with less than a dozen in attendance on Sunday mornings and now average 30-35 each Sunday. We began with two on Wednesday nights for Bible study and now average 20 or more. We began a Celebrate Recovery meeting on Tuesday nights with two in attendance and now average 10-12 each week. God has been so good and has blessed and grown us as a church and me as a Pastor.

Once again I am feeling God pulling us to something more and somewhere different. I don’t know yet where it is or what it oookd like but I will continue to follow Him wherever He leads.
