The hospital was comprised of professional, administrative and technical fields. In particular, the evaluation process was an example of exercised classification authority to develop and evaluate or certify position responsibilities for all of the position descriptions and each individual action within the boundaries of the position classification. Process official personnel actions for organizational segment with Army Reserve personnel positions; provide support for recruitment activities. Processed appointments, separations, promotions, changes to lower grade, reassignments, transfers, mass change actions; Review personnel action requests for accuracy, existence/adequacy of supporting documents, appropriateness of regulatory authority, proposed action cited in relation to intended purpose. Resolve discrepancies. Followed-up on suspense dates. Code/input personnel data into automated system. Check accuracy of computer generated actions. Answer questions about status of pending actions. Resolve processing problems such as failure to be promoted on effective date or irregularities in pay. Performed staffing clerical duties for recruitment organization.
