- Pre check reefer temperature to maintain proper cooling for dairy or frozen products, then proceeding to write down temps on sheet for truck
- Check off list for any damage inside of truck before loading for safety and concerns
- Depending on how many pallets are to be loaded, determine pattern for pallets to ensure all product passes weight and fits inside of truck for transport
- Communicate with high reach forklift operator for where the pallets are going to be located to then grab pallets with pallet jack to proceed loading onto truck
- If necessary build all pallets to full using a partial picked pallet to fill in gaps of missing product intended to be a full pallet
- Using an RF scanner, scan in all pallets pertaining to your truck and door it is assigned to and then scanning dock number to register pallets to system for loading
- Load full pallets into truck with stand up pallet jack until full
- Proceed to close up truck properly and make sure it is properly sealed, then place a lock seal to ensure the driver it has been loaded and closed out
- Fill in any necessary information regarding any manual labor work that needed to be done to product and how long it took
- After loading truck, release said truck from dock and take paperwork to leads for processing
- Occasionally having to use a high reach forklift to drop down full pallets and pulling off cases to build partials for future orders in the same week

- Using my forklift, unload pallets actively coming down the conveyor line to then scan order ticket on pallet using an RF scanner to computer system and then allocating said pallet to specific location for staging/storing
- Depending on pallet size and dimensions stack pallets on top of one another to ensure stability and organization of pallets to conserve space for future pallets coming off the line
- Load freight trucks with pallets when drivers come and pick up their materials/orders or load PCA trailers with special orders for next day shipping without damaging or harming product loaded.
- Assist in warehouse put away for warehouse branded items coming off the line and confirming they go to correct location for put away for accurate stock in warehouse using RF scanner for lookup/put away locations
- Pallets that are too small of size require to strap pallets manually using a strap machine and corrugated protection to prevent damage to material and then once completed scan pallet to location and moving pallet using forklift
- Assist in cooperating with machine operators to locate and restock active machines with raw material from warehouse using a look up system to track specific orders that need fulfillment to complete as work order using forklift
