With over 10 years of law enforcement experience and over 12 years as a use-of-force instructor Matthew has trained thousands of law enforcement officers, security personnel, and civilians throughout the country in firearms, active shooter response and survival, less-then-lethal weapons, tactics, law, and first aid.

In 2024, Matthew was certified by the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) as a Nationally Certified Instructor presenting the "best practices" in developing and presenting curriculum related to Firearms, Active Shooters, Tactics, and Legal Aspects of Law Enforcement.
