Assigned to help two other mechanics save a processing plant where maintenance was not previously a priority between the years of 2014 and 2023. Attempted to save a run to fail operation without any approval for downtime for inspection and repair. Was not given a budget until 4 months into the job and the plant manager took the month off which I was given a budget to work with. Thereafter I was placed on nights with little to no communication with the rest of management who deemed me subservient to the production foreman with no consideration of actual maintenance needs other than 'make it run through the night by yourself' mentality.

Repair industrial food machinery, building facilities, electrical systems and electronics as needed. Work with management to attempt to make new investor / shareholder company satisfied with 50-100% increase in production expectations of old and failing equipment. Train production workers as there was no formal training program in place and management blamed maintenance department for all production deficiencies.

• Removed and installed aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls.
• Learned to understand and efficiently troubleshoot automatic flight control systems
• Collaborated with colleagues and medical staff in developing and refining maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems and tested equipment following repairs.
• Streamlined repair processes and maintenance schedules for increased efficiency and reduced downtime.
• Developed company corrosion prevention program for new fleet of BHT 429 series helicopters
• On call 24/10 (2 off) for any and all maintenance needs, local or remote with 1 hr call to show requirement plus office hrs
• Maintained airframes including A109E, BHT429, EC135P1 and EC135P2+
• In depth STC research and compliance

• Diagnose and correct reported discrepancies or delegate a qualified mechanic to do so or train them in the matter
• Responsible for the continued airworthiness of 18 helicopters and/or documenting reasons for lack of airworthiness and progress report at the end of the night
• Project next upcoming inspections based on hours flown per aircraft
• Ensure inspections and assessments and completion of repairs are done in a timely manner in conjunction with prioritizing mechanics and resources to ensure maximizing availability
• Perform field maintenance on 206L and AS350 helicopters
• Coordinate with main base of operations what parts and repairs are needed and occasionally convey diagnostic information to management if my assessment is challenged
• Provide basic services such as fueling, passenger loading/unloading, briefing, and other assigned duties in place of lacking staff members
• Coordinate with operations the logistical needs for having the pilot to assist with maintenance or flying the pilot back to the base via another flight and when a pilot can return the aircraft
• Obtain and abide orders and go to helicopter staging location with fuel truck as assigned
• Provide pilot with transportation to and from hotel if elected
• Provide any necessary services to ensure continued field operations
• Perform and or teach structural repairs as necessary
• Perform and / or oversee major repairs and or alterations as deemed necessary or requested by the director of maintenance

• Project and provide preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance to helicopters operating under contract for PG&E Hydro Division
• Maintain 100% availability of company aircraft to the customer to include one AS350B2 and one BHT 206L3+ at bases located in Paradise and Burney, CA
• Convey parts needs to main office in Fresno, CA

• Learned the basics of helicopter maintenance and the principles of a 135 / 133 operation.

• Built an understanding of regular and heavy maintenance schedules for said aircraft and the inspection and replacement of critical components

• Processed transactions efficiently I.E. ran two registers at one time to mitigate long lines at checkout
• Maintained a clean and efficient store and ensured product availability on the shelves
• De-escalated customer complaints and provided resolutions in order to preclude involvement of management
