Online Store | Java, MySQL

• Created a MySQL application to make a database for an online store which includes customers, employees, admin. Each user has a sign-in page and there individual foreign key.
• The Main.java, Customer.java, Employee.java, Admin.java, and Database.java files collaborate to create a seamless online store application that mirrors the functionality of an e-commerce database. Main.java serves as the core program that manages user interactions by routing them through different processes based on their roles. Acting as a central hub, it guides the program toward the relevant features and functions for customers, employees, or administrators, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience.
• Integrated MySQL with Java to enable seamless updates from the Java application to the database. This ensures real-time synchronization and consistency between the application and the database.

Movie Recommendations | Java, JavaFX, MySQL, SceneBuilder

• Created an algorithm that would be considered as an “interesting” movie to the user. This would be achieved by the user entering three genres they prefer, and the program will choose appropriate movies for them based on their input into the program.
• Implemented JavaFX and Scenebuilder to develop a user friendly and visually appealing interface for the application
• Utilized MySQL to save the user accounts and implement the databases into the applications, seamlessly integrating them with Java and JavaFX for backend functionality.
