I have worked at both a public municipal golf course and an exclusive private country club. I have worked management, retail, and physical roles. I am a fast learner, detail-oriented, and I have adapted to every new role I have found myself in. I am driven and am looking for a new opportunity.

Apprentice Golf Professional

I began as an senior outside services role:

  • Used tee sheet to inform team how many carts to get ready for the day.
  • Stocked and staged carts to get ready for the day.
  • Kept range area clean and range balls stocked throughout the day.
  • Member facing; Assisted members with any issues they had while getting ready for their round.

After a year I moved into an Apprentice Golf Professional role:

  • Worked the golf shop counter for 40 hours a week. Answering phone calls, helping members in buying of retail items and answering any questions members or their guests had.
  • Charged members Using POS system at the end of the day for their guest and cart fees.
  • Folded and tagged any new inventory coming into the shop.
  • Used b2b websites to special order items for members.
  • Taught private lessons and camps for children under the age of 16.

Ropes course instructor/Shift lead

I began as a ropes course instructor:

  • Ensured all guests were properly harnessed and briefed before participating in the ropes course activities.
  • Led safety briefings for groups of up to 18 participants, ensuring clarity and understanding of course rules.
  • Supervised the group as they took on the zip-line course, ensuring they followed all safety procedures.

After 7 months I was trained to be a shift lead:

  • Worked the window of the cabin. Checked in guests, took payments, and made sure all waivers were signed before sending them to the harnessing area.
  • Assigned instructors to briefing times, ensuring a good rotation so instructors were able to get breaks.
  • Typed the daily report at the end of the day and any incident reports as needed.
