I have been running Kerkes Electric & Construction since 2011 part time. Since December of 2020 it has been my sole income full time. I service residential, commercial, and industrial businesses. I am well versed in all electrical single phase and three phase systems up to 480 volts. I am well versed in Marina wiring disconnects and reconnects for construction crews. Installation of pedestals, transformers and power distribution centers. I specialize in rewiring homes, upgrading panels, setting standby generators, and trouble shooting electrical issues. I have experience in remodeling bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, doors, windows, siding, new construction and remodels. Experience wiring outdoor lighting, low voltage, underground work.

• I had constant coordination with outside contractors, write RFP’s, and reviewed bids.
• I wrote annual budget plans, made amendments, and discussed operational needs with board commissioners.
• I attended a monthly commission meetings, and addressed community concerns and action issues.
• I trained Harbor employees on current construction regulations & better safety practices.
• I maintained & upgrade the Harbor’s underground electrical wiring, pumps, & water lines.
• Supervision of building maintenance of Harbor buildings including electrical panel change outs, lighting fixtures and circuits, standby generator systems, circuit breakers, control relays, HVAC servicing repairs, carpet, roofing, paint, plumbing, dredging, & refrigeration.
• I have seasoned experience with electrical service & installation of three phase & single-phase 480v motors.
• Continuous diagnosing, repairing/servicing sanitary sewer lift stations, plumbing below docks and under water and continuous maintenance on a 20-ton Ice machine.
• Hands on construction repairs of docks, Piers and other marine structures, including piling and pile guide replacements as well as seawall, floats, jetties & gangway replacements.
• Operation/servicing/purchasing and maintaining company vehicles & equipment such as a forklift, skip loader, D-6 loader, skidsteer, fleet trucks, & an all terrain crane.
• I headed the construction of the new Harbor welding shop.
• I led Tsunami clean up crews in 2011 funded by FEMA.

• I provided on call repairs for all air conditioners, refrigeration, plumbing, & carpentry maintenance resolution to over 42 restaurants such as; Applebee’s, Logan’s Roadhouse, Marie Calendars, Burger King, and Del Taco from Oregon to Fresno.
• I worked on standard drive motors on a daily basis.
• I have experience in 3 phase 208/230v commercial grade A/C units and high/medium/low pressure refrigeration.
• All restaurant maintenance including fryers, electrical, shakes machines, & walk in refrigerators.
• I am qualified with combustion motors.
• I have experience with commercial boilers, re-circulating pumps, & skilled with impeller change outs.
• I have experience changing & servicing broiler exhaust motors, blower motors & condenser fan motors.
• Expert in maintaining & checking Amp draws on all motors, inspecting all electrical connections & pumps making sure they are well oiled.
• I practiced preventative maintenance, checking fuses, inspecting pump housing for cracks or leaks, & checking belts if equipped with them.
• I have experience welding, and dealing with sewage issues.
• Sign lighting 220V change out and repairs.
• I maintained/serviced & drove a 15K pound commercial bucket truck.
• I kept daily maintenance logs for expenditures & work preformed.

• Maintained a 160-unit complex managing a three-man crew; painter, grounds, & cabinetmaker.
• Planned, directed and oversaw company facilities department.
• Assigned and supervised maintenance technicians.
• Managed preventative maintenance contracts with vendors.
• Initiated contracts with vendors, requisitions replacement parts, responsible for personnel actions.

• I was on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week to handle any emergency that may arise.
• Proficient at plumbing, tub enclosures, drywall/sheetrock repairs including texturing, flooring, electrical, basic carpentry, window coverings, paint prep, and painting, lock change outs, re-keying lock appliance repairs, and finish work.
• I also handled customer work requests, landscaping issues, and pool maintenance.
• I scheduled pest control upkeep and serving with selected vendors.
• I set up safety meetings/trainings with employees.
