My name is Dustin Lowry and I have 11 years of experience in the Fire Service and Emergency Medical Services. I started in 2012 by volunteering for Lincoln Fire Protection District. I attended Lake Land College, where I obtained an associate degree in Paramedical Services and then became a Nationally Registered Paramedic. In 2022, I also obtained a CCEMT-P certificate through UMBC. In 2016, I continued my education in the fire industry and obtained Basic Operations Firefighter. I later pursued my Advanced Fire Operations. During this time, I accepted an officer role as a Lieutenant in 2016 at Lincoln Fire Protection where I still serve as an officer. I am employed by the Charleston Fire Department. I am currently serving as a Firefighter Paramedic and working towards officer roles in the department. Every day I strive for success by continuing my education, learning from previous experiences, and listening to knowledgeable and positive people.
