Lead Instructor
2 Years 8 Months- Lead and instructed classes between 5-15 students on practical skills in a work training and placement program, helping students develop skills in math, soft skills, power-tools, resume building and interviewing
- Developed curriculum and lesson plans using creative analysis to determine what material would be beneficial to students, and how to teach it in the most intuitive ways
- Monitored feedback from students through personal contact and assessments to determine which areas of material required additional instruction
Technical Writer
4 Years 5 Months- Reviewed and analyzed data and schematics from big 3 automotive engineers and suppliers, then organized and illustrated new-model vehicle sub-systems and wiring diagrams for vehicle diagnostic use
- Helped implement new software which interpreted engineering data and provided dealership technicians with live-update diagnostics, resulting in drastically reduced diagnostic and repair time, as well as gaining the acquisition of new customer contracts
- Communicated with dealership personnel nation-wide to resolve problems regarding publications and diagnostics data and customer requests to fix errors or provide clarity
