Kept good customer service. Done all the painting and caulking on the units we made. Loaded and unloaded finished products onto trailers, flatbed and box trucks. Checked in and unloaded and put up stock materials and supplies when they were delivered to the shop. Used different forklifts to move the different materials and products around the shop. I was the lead Welder and Fabricator, I overseen the shop and planed out production for the day when my boss wasn't there or until he came into work.
Tig Welded stainless steel and welded mild steel to stainless steel, also tig welded aluminum when needed. I tig welded stainless steel kitchen cookware for like tables, cook tops and hoods for all the fast food restaurants such as Hardee's, Burger King, McDonald's. Set my welding machine up to correct setting as needed, used the correct filler rods as needed for that specific job. Kept a very clean wok area at all times, used various grinding and polishing tools as need, reading different blueprints as needed for that particular job, excuted my job to the very best of my ability and and a timely manner that ensured getting the work load out when I was supposed to. Used various clamps, tools , jigs and fixtures needed for specific jobs. Very fast at adapting to different materials, tools , work load.
Set up various bending and forming machines for copper tubing. Changed out dies in those machines to run a specific part and quantity of those parts at the highest quality possible, communicated with previous supervisors and management along with my supervisor and quality control on what is needed for the shift and what machines I had to have set up for the next shift, doing any troubleshooting when needed, kept a clean work space for the operators running the machines, set up drill presses with various drill bits and reaming tools that were needed for specific jobs, set up cnc machinery when needed. During any idle time between die or material changes i would help with brazing parts and components together. Kept a detailed log of mold and die changes with total number of parts run on that specific job. Sharpened drills bits when needed. Stayed in close contact with our Quality Control to make sure we maintain quality parts for our customers.
Hung and finished sheetrock and other types of materials depending on what that specific jobs called for. Built walls utilizing metal studs and frame work. Framed walls with regular wood also. Used all the different tools for hanging and finishing sheetrock, and all the tools for framing with metal studs including brick scaffolding, Bakers Scaffolding and scissor lifts, Genie Booms and walking on stilts. We installed insulation when needed and installed drop ceilings. We did alot of government jobs which included schools and several car dealerships which we had to use 5/8" sheetrock for those jobs which have a higher fire rating then regular 1/2", also had to fire tape all government work. We also done a lot residential work. Kept a clean working environment, and occasionally we would installed Hardie Board on the outside of building when we got that tyoe of work.
