During my time as a Deputy Sheriff as well as working within the Marine Unit I have been involved in natural disasters such as flooding from hurricanes both on the Gulf and on local rivers

Accomplishments

I have completed Boating Under the Influence training with FWC Officer D. Pulaski upon my arrival to the Hernando County Marine Unit. This led me to initiate and investigate multiple Boating Under the Influence cases after being trained and certified.


I have attended three Search and Rescue trainings provided by United States Coast Guard Sector Saint Petersburg along with United States Coast Guard Station Yankeetown. These techniques were put to the test multiple times on the coast of Hernando County with our Marine Unit.


Joint efforts have been utilized on numerous occasions combining the Hernando County Sheriff's Marine Unit and local FWC. Anything from simple resource violations to commercial vessel boardings.


I have completed the Advanced Airboat Training and Techniques which was offered by Tactical Advantage Consultants in Miami Florida.
