Matthew Martin

Was an active choral student at Beauregard High School under Pam Kenney and Emily Bigler, had multiple solos and participated in Alabama all state choir for all three years.

Practiced proper vocal technique and expressiveness as well as stage presence and performance, with multiple opportunities to perform along many venues.

Was an active student in Beauregard High Schools Band, played french horn for 6 years and was the Drum Major for my last two years in marching band, conducted students and taught music with help from John Hillsman and DeZayveon Dickerson.

Regularly practiced musicality, proper technique and notes, as well as expressiveness and emotion. Conducted numerous students and taught high school level music and its intricacies to many students, instructing on how to blend and to work together to produce a proper sound.

Have participated in numerous ensembles at Auburn University including AU Singers, Auburn Chamber Choir, Auburn Concert Chorus, AU Gospel Choir, etc.

Rehearsed proper technique, facials and expressivity, and collaboration and performing with a group, as well as dancing and performing in a dancing and pop environment.

• Developed show concepts and themes to engage audience members.

Participated in the first musical Beauregard High School performed as the lead role, and have done multiple iterations of Auburn community theater, musical and non musical alike.

Regularly practice belting, acting and proper expressions, as well as proper singing technique and collaboration including blending and performing with other performers.
