  • Responsible for overseeing the PREs with the timely resolution of Electric Boat’s (EB) significant problems (i.e. NAVSEA “A” Items, Method “C” and “D” Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Top Ten Items, or Level I problems) as identified by internal management or directorates and external customers (e.g. SUPSHIP or NAVSEA).
  • Assist with formal investigations into unplanned events via learning sessions and critiques as necessary.
  • Actively engage EB management and senior leadership throughout the unplanned event process in order to identify areas in need of improvement and provide recommendations for preventative actions.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement continuous improvement ideas sourced within department to support the construction of nuclear submarines.
