  • Co-authored, “Polar class ship accessibility to Arctic seas north of the Bering Strait in a decade of variable sea-ice conditions” peer-reviewed and published in Frontiers Journal. Highlighting the variability of the Arctic over the last decade using historical data gathered from the USNIC and utilizing Polaris Code to determine sea ice accessibility for ice hardened vessels derived from the USNIC's weekly analysis classifying and characterizing sea ice
  • Incorporated python scripts, in order to generate historical sea ice statistical data that identifies the variability of Arctic sea ice conditions over a 10 year period as well as determines sea ice accessibility for military and civilian ice hardened vessels
  • Spearheaded multiple briefs to higher echelons of Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command (CNMOC) on the capabilities of the command and provided them with situational and environmental awareness/intelligence surrounding the Arctic and Antarctica
  • Delivered high profile intelligence brief to Senior Staff member of Senator King's office highlighting the USNIC's scientific support and domain awareness
  • Utilized geographical information systems (GIS) to display data sources, perform standardized analysis and manipulate data to answer user questions regarding sea ice parameters, developing professional graphics
  • Compiled, analyzed, and interpreted multiple data sources to produce high quality ice analyses and ice forecasts in digital or message format on a global, regional, and tactical scale using standardized meteorological symbology
  • Interpreted visible, infrared, synthetic aperture radar, and passive microwave sensor data to identify select environmental features daily

  • Leveraged the Minotaur Mission System to conduct post-natural disaster damage assessment of U.S. critical infrastructure and key resources (CIKR)
  • Integrated satellite imagery to help provide District 1, District 5, and District 7 of environmental impacts to critical infrastructure due to extreme weather conditions. This support helped decision makers make essential decisions to minimize damage
  • Formulated collection plans for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and USCG during a Haiti migrant crisis during COVID-19
  • These collection plans helped direct assets from both entities gather on Areas of Interest (AOIs) as well as Vessels of Interest (VOIs). With the collection plans in place, over 1,000 individual images were taken of new and old VOI locations
  • The organization and efficiency of these collection plans directly impacted the success for interdicting migrants and drugs
  • Initiated a system to analyze and categorize all imagery that was being collected during a Haiti migrant crisis
  • Created multiple Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to keep track of images as well as identifying specific images that had key elements of interest which greatly contributed to the success rate of the mission
  • Ordered multiple National Technical Means (NTM) of satellite imagery to provide higher understanding of activity for high priority classified missions
  • Exploited NGA Map and ArcGIS to provide Coast Guard Investigative Service (CGIS) with a link analysis of an ongoing case that gave them the tools to have a successful mission in an attempted murder case.

Intelligence Watch Analyst (IWA)

Maritime Intelligence Fusion Center Atlantic (MIFC LANT)
Virginia Beach, VA
06.2018 - 12.2018
  • Provided decision makers with real time intelligence for vessels that were participating in illicit activities involving illegal fishing and/or narcotics using Electronics Intelligence (ELINT)

  • Coordinated directly across multiple intelligence agencies to help track and monitor VOIs. This established relationships ultimately resulting in the second largest drug seizure in the Port of New York/Newark and the largest in nearly 25 years. In total, approximately 3,200 pounds (1455 kilograms) of cocaine with an estimated street value of approximately $77,000,000 was seized

  • Successfully increased operational flow due to unrelenting efforts that resulted in a streamline process which curtailed a critical queue from over 120 pending adjudication cases to a daily average of 10 cases, reducing the processing lead time from 30 days to 5 days
  • Diligently prepared over 100 military cases for adjudication with Direct Access reports, CGBI reports and LALEC checks in preparation for two anticipated government shut downs (furloughs), three scheduled and unscheduled Field Activity Tracking Systems (FACTS) outages, circumventing substantial loss of adjudicator productivity
  • Significantly assisted in reduction of longstanding military adjudications from over 3,500 cases pending final adjudication to under 1,500 cases by effectively adjudicating limited issue cases for peer review conducted by senior SECCEN personnel
