• Utilized Fluid Mechanics theories as well as coding algorithms in MatLab with the task of 'guessing' the inlet velocity of the fluid (water) flowing from a municipal water supply to an industrial drinking fountain using an iterative algorithm. Accounting for the many constraints (such as different diameter pipes, materials, elbows, valves, and chillers) within the scope of the project, it was critical to find the velocity to an error of 1% or less.
• Designed a Rack and Pinion system that meets realistic constraints using CAD - SolidWorks. This involves, generating accurate and complete drawing packages consisting of outline drawings, final assemblies, sub-assemblies - including bill of materials and fabrication detail drawings for the manufacturing/end-user needs.

- Applied engineering principles - (Statics and Dynamics) to achieve desired performance needs.

- Prepared shop traveler and final inspection documents.
